This Privacy Policy explains how the Conscious app ("the app," "we," "us") handles your information. Our approach is simple: your data stays on your device, and we do not collect it.
We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your personal or financial information on our servers. The app has no servers. Everything you enter — transactions, budgets, categories, and settings — is stored locally on your device only.
All information you create in the app is saved on your device using the device's local storage. This data never leaves your phone, is not sent to us or any third party, and is not backed up to our systems. We have no ability to access, view, or recover it.
The app does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or bank-connection services at this time. The app makes no network requests to transmit your data.
Because we do not collect your data, we do not and cannot sell, share, or disclose it to anyone.
You are in full control of your data. You can delete individual entries within the app at any time. Deleting the app from your device permanently removes all data stored by the app.
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone. Because all data stays on the device and is never transmitted to us, no personal information is gathered from any user.
If the app's features change in a way that affects how data is handled — for example, if optional bank-connection features are added in the future — this policy will be updated, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the change. Any future features that involve transmitting data would be optional and clearly disclosed before use.
